The Lurgashall Design Statement was formally adopted by Chichester District Council on 6th April 2004 as supplementary planning guidance.
The design statement was prepared by residents of the Parish of Lurgashall to distinguish and express elements in design and features of their environment which they believe to be important to retain in order to protect the character of the Parish. It is a representative view of the whole parish and a number of open workshops were held during its drafting.
